Wellness is something attainable to all people, despite age, disease, disability or adversity. Even within the toughest of circumstance, through the application of wellness tools and practices, we can attain a sense of wellness.
Self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-mastery are the 3 pillars of wellness and of mastering the human form and experience. Embodying these skills is the way forward to living a free life where you are able to thrive and meet your full potential.
Real wellness is achieved when a life is lived aligned with one’s values and priorities. To do this we must understand ourselves, our environment, their relationship and how this affects our everyday life and health outcomes. We need to identify what is most important to us. We need the courage and willingness to change what is called for, some serenity to accept what is not able to shift and the awareness and wisdom to know what to work on and what to surrender into.
Wellness is not gained from kicking goals; it is something we actively cultivate for ourselves along our life journey by embodying the traits and behaviours we wish for and need.
